How much to pinch??

Hi there-

I recently purchased a 4-pack of tins. All smell and smoke great!

Meanwhile, I am fairly new to smoking. I trying to refine my technique for me, and also for small house party entertainment. Was wondering, what do you recommend for the optimal number of 'pinches' (or maybe teaspoons?) of chips to use per drink for a smoking board? How about a topper?

Also, is it detracting to re-use some of the partially burned chips, or better to start fresh for every glass?
